Position: Easy Rider - Shift Manager
Shifts: Morning/Day or Afternoon/Night | Wednesday through Sunday
Type: Part Time, Full Time
Compensation: $18 - $20 per hour + incentives
Easy Rider is a new diner-style restaurant in the heart of Fountain Square, serving brunch, dinner and late night food with a full bar.
Easy Rider is owned and operated by HI-FI Indianapolis, and is connected to HI-FI & HI-FI Annex - feeding from an active schedule of live concerts. Renowned Chef Ricky Martinez (Delicia, Boca, Havana) dishes out menu favorites like Chilaquiles, Chicken & Waffles, Shrimp + Grits, Mac & Queso, Cubanos Fried Chicken and more. Easy Rider is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner but it's no secret - we brunch hard. The restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday, with family friendly and adult bar seating, in the space formerly occupied by Pure Eatery.
We are currently hiring Shift Managers (day shift and night shift) with proven leadership skills and a background in the hospitality industry. ideal candidates have had experience in a variety of positions including serving and bartending. Shift Managers are in responsible for running the front of house operations and leadership to our team as the "manager on duty." Ideal candidates would have prior experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Meticulous attention to detail and high-level of customer service skills important skills to put forth.
Candidates should be highly motivated to succeed, reliable, and have the ability to work efficiently under pressure. As ambassadors of our guest experience, everyone on our team must deliver a high level of customer service.

POSITION: SHIFT MANAGER
Specific duties and scope of work include:
- Oversee a service team which can include 3-8 servers, bartenders and hosts
- Assistance in creating weekly schedules
- Interact with guests for feedback and quality control
- Troubleshoot any issues
- Oversee opening or closing duties
- Maintain cleanliness that complies with food sanitation requirements and properly handling food
- Understand and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, guidelines and training programs
- Ensure all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service
- Deliver a high level of hospitality to visiting artists performing at associated venues
- Achieve company objectives in sales, appearance, sanitation and cleanliness
- Control cash and other receipts through company’s cash handling policy
Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years of restaurant or hospitality industry management experience
- Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent leadership skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced setting and working under pressure
- In depth knowledge of the restaurant, bar and hospitality industry
- Have a valid Indiana Servers License
- Experience using and navigating point-of-sale systems - our restaurant uses Toast POS
