Position: Operations Assistant (Seasonal)
Schedule: Nights, Weekends, Select Holidays
Type: Part Time-Seasonal | 4-5 Days/Nights Per Week (April 2026 - October 2026)
Compensation: $16.00-$20.00 per hour based on prior experience.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our Operations team. This position is seasonal from April 2026-October 2026 and reports directly to the VP of Operations. As an Operations Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of all events across HI-FI & HI-FI Annex (outdoors).
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the organization and execution of all event logistics for HI-FI Annex (outdoors) & HI-FI.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas, including storage rooms, green rooms, and backstage areas.
- Hours will be variable and work around artist load in schedules with periodically set admin days onsite.
- Coordination and purchasing of all Artist Hospitality riders and cash reconciliation.
- Assist with estimates and scheduling of Audio/Lighting gear rentals and maintenance with preferred vendors.
- Coordination and execution artist arrival / parking / and event logistics alongside the Operations and Production team.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.
- Coordinate with technical and event staff to ensure proper placement of venue amenities, and functioning of audio, lighting, and visual equipment.
- Help with loading and unloading of equipment, instruments, and gear (as needed).
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and performers.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in live event production or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of audio, lighting, and visual equipment is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for music and live entertainment.
- Must be 21+
